What is a Spanish-speaking college graduate that just isn’t cut out for American corporate life supposed to do once she enters the real world? Move to Buenos Aires…at least that’s my advice.
Fully equipped with a year of study abroad experience and an Emory degree, I am back at it in this stimulating and wonderful porteƱo city. Only this time I’m (expected to be) a real person. This blog is meant to be everything from entertainment to potential cultural advice…or at the very least a good laugh, as this crazy city continues to kick my ass on a daily basis.
As I am one of the myriad people that enjoy consuming all that Buenos Aires (and other cities) has to offer…from fabulous shopping, to trippy exhibitions and great bars and restaurants…some of this Blog’s content will be devoted to commenting on stores, cultural hot-spots, bars, restos, etc. Being from Portland, OR and a general lover of traveling, comments will not always be restricted to Buenos Aires (though considering Baires is now home, the majority of writing will pertain to this magnificent city).
Any recommendations, comments, etc., feel free to drop me a line. I’ll do my best to report the interesting and insane occurrences that happen all too often in the life of an American expat in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
